New Celebrity Music Video Addresses Unauthorized Use of Songs by Politicians

We’ll write about a wider IP topic today, simply as an excuse to bring you the celebrity-packed music video called “Stop Using Our Songs” that demands politicians stop using music without artists’ permission.

The music video made its debut on the most recent episode of “Last Week Tonight,” with host John Oliver summing up the ongoing problem: “This happens every single election. It’s time for musicians to come together and take a stand.”
